Adoption

We started our adoption journey February 2009.  We decided to go the domestic adoption route through Christian Family Adoptions out of Portland, OR.  In July 2009 we completed our homestudy, and jumped right into fund raising.  We had garage sales, an online puzzle fundraiser, sold coffee, and did blog designs in the hopes of raising funds for our pending adoption.  In December 2009 we got the news that Show Hope was granting us 4,000 toward our adoption. We were ecstatic! On May 28th, 2010, we got the call that a little boy was born the day before, and we were chosen for him.  By May 31, we were on an airplane on our way to pick up our new son Samuel. He is a blessing from the Lord!  We want to adopt again in the near future.  So once again, we will be starting up our fund raising efforts.
